AMBS WorldCat Transition, Spring 2014
AMBS Library will change its search system for books, media, and journal titles after the end of the spring semester, May 21, 2014. This transition will also require all users to change their passwords for remote access to library resources.
AMBS WorldCat will be the new interface for searching AMBS print and electronic book, media, and journal collections.
By default, AMBS WorldCat searches the holdings of partner libraries in the Private Academic Library Network of Indiana (PALNI) (including Goshen College and Mennonite Historical Library) and the worldwide holdings of OCLC member libraries (including Elkhart Public Library and University of Notre Dame). Resources not owned by AMBS are often available for in-person borrowing at other libraries or delivery service.
Stay tuned for more announcements from the library about the change, including instruction in using the new search system and information about changing passwords. Library staff appreciate your patience.
In this video, AMBS librarian Karl Stutzman provides a beginning introduction to using the AMBS WorldCat search system.
