Search the ATLA Religion Database to discover journal articles and essays on an aspect of pastoral care. The screenshots below demonstrate steps for searching by topic.
Select "ATLA Religion" on the Articles tab.
If you enter terms in the box here on the Articles tab, the results will include many articles from health or social services perspectives. Many articles on the result list will not have a ministry focus. This is because a search in the Articles tab returns results from both Academic Search Premier and the ATLA Religion Database.
Type the research topic in the search box of the ATLA Religion Database.
Scan the list to identify useful articles and essays. Select "PDF Full Text" to display full text journal articles. Select "Find It Request a copy" to locate an essay in a book. Select "AMBS WorldCat" to locate the book in the AMBS Library. Complete the request form to obtain it from another library. Distance students may enter delivery information in the "Anything else" field of the form.
