This diagram represents the intersections of disciplines and methods involved in effective peacebuilding. As you work in peace studies, your sources will need to come from multiple places on the wheel.

  • Perspective of sources: look at authors' affiliations and publishers; pay attention to geography and faith traditions
  • Various ways of knowing: choose sources from multiple disciplines, backgrounds, and parts of the library
  • Disciplinary use of language: choose a variety of keywords to search for information on your topic
