Criteria for Reopening

The AMBS Library remains closed to the public.  AMBS Librarians are monitoring the latest data on the local COVID-19 situation, and have established criteria to guide our reopening to the community.  Based on the best available data, Elkhart County must meet the following criteria for 14 consecutive days in order for the AMBS Library to reopen to the public:

  • New daily positive cases below 20 (or .01% of population)
  • Testing positivity rate below 5%

Update 2/24/2021:

  • New positive cases:  81
  • Testing Positivity Rate:  4.69%
