Christian Ethics: Searching the Library by Topic

This guide supports the AMBS course Thinking Ethically (HTE541).

Library of Congress Subject Headings

The Library of Congress establishes standard terms to describe the subjects of items in the library catalog. Searching with these standard terms can be more precise than guessing at search terms.

Subject headings are often made more explicit with subheadings. Adding a subheading term such as "ethical" to a topical search will focus results.
